The creation of PatienTales

Welcome to PatienTales!

Patien... what? What are you talking about?

Let's start from the beginning. My name is Clara, nice to meet you! Among other things, I am a family doctor and my work has led me to witness many wonders.

Personally, I find the most special one something that touches each of us a little: the doctor-patient relationship. If you think about it, it's two strangers that without much introduction, begin to talk about intimacies, fears, hopes... Pure emotion and, I insist, two strangers. Isn't it incredible?

Being able to experience the doctor's side feels like a privilege, and I wanted to share it. This is how PatienTales was born. It's a place to share the lessons I learned, a small window to see a bit of other worlds, other lives. Real stories of real people.

Because to understand someone, no matter how different they may be, there's nothing like sitting down and listening. And that's the best way to realize that deep down, they weren't as different as you thought in the beginning.
